Driving from the south
As you approach Coffs Harbour you will pass through a light industrial area with car dealerships. A large windmill restaurant will be on the left as you climb the hill immediately before the town centre. Keep in the right lane and turn right at the traffic lights (into Albany Street) and then immediately sharp turn left into Grafton Street, which runs parallel to the Pacific Highway. We are about 200 metres down the service street on the right.
Driving from the north
Drive past the Big Banana and the Park Beach Plaza and keep on the Pacific Highway through the main centre of town. Cross Park Avenue then take the next left into Market Street. (The Coast Hotel is on your right as you turn). Go across the intersection past the fire station and turn right into Grafton Street. We are the first motel on the left.
Other transport to Coffs Harbour
Air: There are daily flights to Coffs harbour from Sydney and Brisbane. Sydney to Coffs harbour is about 50 minutes travel and Brisbane to Coffs harbour is about 30 minutes travel.
The Toreador Motel is located about 5km from the airport and a taxi costs $12-$15
Train: There is a train station located 5 minutes drive away from the Toreador Motel. There are daily services to and from Sydney and Brisbane (with stop overs in between) For fare and timetable information visit the NSW Government’s Countrylink website.
Buses: Buses arrive regularly at the Terminal located directly across the road from the Toreador Motel on the Pacific Highway (About 50 metres away) Most companies located on the east coast of Australia have a regular service to Coffs harbour.
